This illustration was developed for an unsolicited proposal at the Albuquerque Rail Yards. Radii is composed of cut sheet metal elements suspended within a network of thin, tensioned cables that visually recede against the sky, allowing the form itself to appear suspended in space. The design is adaptable to a variety of architectural contexts and may be integrated with existing structures or supported by a framework of engineered poles and tensioned cables, allowing the work to establish a distinct spatial presence while responding to the character of the site.
