Iterations of Sunflower, a public art design for roundabouts and parks. Roundabouts present a special opportunity for art that is created specifically to animate and come to life with the viewer’s movement around it. Made of metal with powder coat paint, some of the iterations rest on top of 3 stone walls, some are perforated, some are solid.

Inspired by the architecture of the Getty Museum and Robert Irwin’s Central Garden there I have designed two recent public art pieces, Sunflower and Aster, they are both designed with a relationship between stone and metal.
